I have been asked to “dumb down” an article I wrote in 2007 about Metropolis by Fritz Lang
Is it necessary? I know that the public of the paper it’s gonna be published in is not the average cinephile but still… I don’t find it too complicated.
I just don’t feel comfortable modifying my work for somebody else’s convenience. Am I wrong?
